Senior UX/UI Designer
Overview
We are hiring a Senior UX/UI Designer to work on projects for clients outside of India, so excellent oral and written communication skills are a must.
Job description
Who you are?
  • Figma Master at Enterprise Scale: Expert with Components/Variants, Auto Layout, Variables, Design Tokens, Component Properties, Smart Animate, Branching & Merge, Library governance, versioning and release notes. You know how large design orgs structure files, libraries, and permissions, and you keep them tidy.
  • UX Strategist: Confident running discovery and research - framing problems, mapping journeys and services, crafting hypotheses, and tying decisions to business outcomes. Comfortable with JTBD, task analysis, and UX metrics.
  • UI Craftsperson: Pixel-level command of layout, spacing, grid, colour, type, iconography, and motion. You ship production-ready design specs and interactive prototypes that engineers love.
  • Team Leader & Coach: Able to lead a small, cross-functional pod of 2–4 designers; set rituals (crits, reviews), raise the bar, and mentor mid/junior talent.
  • Client-Facing Communicator: Clear, concise presenter and writer. You can facilitate workshops, handle tough feedback, and build trust with execs and SMEs.
  • Accessibility Advocate: You design for everyone - firm grasp of WCAG 2.2 AA, inclusive patterns, and pragmatic ways to test and fix issues.
What would you be doing?
  • Lead Discovery: Plan and facilitate client workshops (problem framing, vision, prioritisation, journey mapping, service blueprints). Translate findings into scope, personas/JTBD, success metrics, and a UX roadmap.
  • Architect the Experience: Define IA, navigation models, user flows, and content structure for web and mobile. Create low-fi wires to high‑fidelity, clickable prototypes.
  • Own the Design System: Stand up or mature tokens, foundations, components, patterns, and guidelines. Govern Figma libraries (branching, reviews, versioning, release notes), and partner with engineering to operationalise tokens/Storybook.
  • Raise Craft & Velocity: Establish critique cadence, QA checklists, design reviews, and definition of ready/done for design. Coach designers; review deliverables; uplevel documentation quality.
  • Partner with PM & Engineering: Scope features, estimate, sequence work, and land shippable increments. Ensure clean hand‑off (specs, redlines, tokens, motion cues) and support dev during build.
  • Measure Outcomes: Define UX metrics (task success, time on task, adoption, NPS/CSAT). Plan and run usability tests, A/B tests, and analytics reviews; iterate based on evidence.
Benefits
  • 5 day work week (unless for rare emergencies)
  • 100 % remote setup with flexible work culture and international exposure
  • Opportunity to work on mission-critical projects impacting users globally
